In 1946, Jay Waters began what would eventually become Country Farms by selling produce from the back of a pickup truck. With hard work and determination by 1960 this small operation expanded into multiple open-air markets throughout Washington State. The first being right here in Edmonds! Today, we take pride in having served the Edmonds community for almost seven decades.​

In 2020, Jay's son, Rod Waters was ready to step back. He looked to his dedicated leaders, turned family, to carry on the legacy. The then Store Manager, Aaron Sloan, became the owner of what we now know as Country Farms Edmonds.
